PUBPOL 136.01 – CIVIC PARTICIPATION AND COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP
Explores ways in which value conflicts in communities affect civic and political participation, as well as policy design. Examines a series of questions about reinventing democracy at the grassroots. Challenges students to develop a framework of problem solving approaches and to consider diverse ways to exercise leadership in the face of competing interests.
