PUBPOL 153S.01 and 153S.02 – LEADERSHIP, ETHICS AND DRAMA
Includes attending at least two plays or operas per week; study of the texts of several of these works, along with essays by philosophers and political theorists; regular discussions and weekly papers. Topics include dilemmas/conflicts of individual choice and public choice, race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, fairness and social injustice, loyalty and betrayal, and the moral and psychological dimensions of character. (Open to participants in the HLP’s Leadership and the Arts in New York program).
