Father Greg Boyle (affectionately known as “Father G”), a Jesuit priest and Founder and Executive Director of Homeboy Industries, will give a free public talk in Gross Hall, “Be Fearless for Me: Courage and the Gospel of the Marginalized.” Begun in 1988, Homeboy Industries of Los Angeles is the largest and most successful gang intervention, rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world. During his time on campus as Kenan Practitioner in Residence at Kenan Institute of Ethics, Father Boyle will also meet with students in the Hart Leadership Program’s Border Crossing class (PPS 263) to talk about his work with gang members.
