Student Activism and Women’s Leadership at Duke: From the 1968 Silent Vigil to the Present

The Duke Human Rights Center at FHI, Hart Leadership Program and the Office of the Provost will host an event on April 4 about the history of women’s activism at Duke. The panel of outstanding Duke alumni includes Joyce Johnson (’68), one of the first black students at Duke and one of the Allen building protesters in 1968, and Mayor Pro Tem of Durham Jillian Johnson (’03).
