Biography

Sarah Du is the Research Service-Learning Coordinator for the Hart Leadership Program. She manages the Hart Fellows Program, Service Opportunities in Leadership (SOL), the Research-Service Learning (RSL) Pathway, and the Leadership and Arts Policy Internship (LAPI).

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Sarah graduated from Duke in 2016 with a degree in Public Policy Studies and minors in Global Health and English. She became involved with the Hart Leadership Program her freshman year and never looked back—she has taken classes with Tony Brown, Steve Schewel, and Alma Blount, and was a part of the SOL program her junior year. She also worked as an HLP program assistant her senior spring. In her admittedly-limited life outside of HLP, Sarah can be found singing along to anything from Hamilton to the Verdi Requiem, going to see the latest Academy Award-nominated film, or furiously scribbling down words in a notebook. She is excited to embark on this next step of her Hart Leadership journey.
