Seven students in Professor Kristin Goss’s Political Analysis for Public Policy-Making course are participants in the Research Service-Learning option offered this semester. They have been working with two organizations in the Durham community, Church World Service, an organization focused on helping resettled refugees in Durham, and Democracy North Carolina, a political advocacy organization focused on voter outreach and improving voter turnout in elections. As part of the RSL pedagogy, students work on semester-long research projects that result in a final product for their community partners. Please join us on Thursday, December 4th from 10:05 to 11:20 in Sanford 05 to hear their final presentations.
