Former SOL student Quinn Smith (T’23/PPS’23) is one of two recipients of the Udall Scholarship, which recognizes students who have demonstrated a commitment to careers in the environment or Native American tribal public policy.

Hailing from Albuquerque, NM and a citizen of the Chickasaw Nation, Quinn is only one of nine students awarded the Udall Scholarship for his tribal public policy work. During his time as a SOL Fellow, Quinn worked with the Indian Arts and Crafts Board to create a photodocumentary about the Blackfeet Nation and Glacier National Park for the Museum of the Plains Indian.

Congratulations to Quinn! You can read more about Quinn and the Udall Scholarship here.
