The Hart Leadership Program is pleased to invite students, colleagues, and the public to a special conversation with former Duke President Nannerl (Nan) Keohane on February 4th at 1:30 p.m. in Fleishman Commons at the Sanford School of Public Policy. Keohane, a poltical theorist, was Duke’s first and only female president, serving from 1993 to 2004. She will be speaking with Professor Kristin Goss and Mike Lefevre, president of the student body, about her new book “Thinking About Leadership.” We are expecting a strong student turnout and believe this event will be of particular interest to undergraduate students. Keohane’s book explores leadership as a “conversation about human life in social groups” from antiquity to the present day.
