Your turn to tell the story

Is there a story that stays with you?  We’d love to hear it.  Please send your ideas to us, and help us design and build a digital story quilt for the 30th anniversary of the Hart Leadership Program.

If you’ve taken a Hart class or participated one of our experiential learning programs in the past three decades, the chances are good that you had an experience with some staying power.  Maybe the experience was with someone you met in the field–perhaps through your community partner–who mentored you, challenged you, or inspired you to engage with your work in a deeper way.  Maybe it was an enjoyable experience, or perplexing one, but it stretched you in ways that you had no choice but to respect.  Maybe it is an anecdote about someone you trusted, someone with whom you could relax, lighten up, and remember what was important.   Maybe it is a story about a learning experience connected to Hart Leadership faculty, or to your leadership classmates at Duke.

You could tell us about a leadership value or principle that shapes your work.

Or you could tell us how you would describe the spirit of Hart Leadership Program.

Whatever the story that stays with you might be, why not take a moment and send us a note?  We are beginning to design the digital story quilt now and will announce details in January.
