Alumni Interview: Hirsh Sandesara

This video is part of the Hart Leadership Alumni Spotlight series. After graduating Duke in 2006, Hirsh Sandesara detoured from his original plan of immediately enrolling in medical school and spent two years as a health care consultant for McKinsey & Company. Through this unexpected experience he gained valuable insight into the policy of medicine and into the management and administration of complex systems. He stresses the importance of leaping at every opportunity, even the unexpected ones.
