Silent No More

I traveled to Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota, and Lame Deer Indian Reservation in Montana in order to interview the women who have been affected by a murdered or missing woman, and were willing to share their story. My boss, and the rest of the White Bison team, felt that a documentary about the widely unknown phenomenon of murdered and missing indigenous women in the United States would be the most effective way to raise awareness and show impact.

When I showed the first few minutes of this to my boss before I left, he said he would love to use it in some of his trainings. I was honored by this, and I explained that because I wanted it to be everything he wants/needs, in order to get the message across in the most effective way possible, I would be open to sending him this copy as a first draft, and we can continue to communicate about changes.
