she/herBIOGRAPHY
Enqiang (Yutong) Yuan is a sophomore from Beijing, China, majoring in Public Policy and Asian & Middle Eastern Studies with a certificate in Digital Intelligence. Her research explores how migration, technology, and identity intersect in spaces of displacement and governance. Enqiang has conducted research and documentary projects across Asia, Europe, and the United States, examining how diasporic communities navigate exclusionary policies and reconstruct identity through multimedia storytelling. Through Laidlaw, she hopes to further explore how automation and governance systems shape mobility and statelessness, bridging social research with emerging questions in AI ethics and law. In her free time, you can find her watching films and musicals, reading, practicing archery and tennis, and collecting pins from around the world.
