Rebuilding Student Conservatism

Abstract

As one of several self-described conservatives in his PEP cohort, Jeremy did not in fact adopt a project partner outside or within Duke University. Instead, he considered how and whether it would be possible to rebuild a form of student conservatism on campus that was not defined by racism, white victimhood, or identity politics, but instead on conservative principles. For Jeremy, those principles have involved asking hard questions and following them up with challenging actions.
