Max Cleland, decorated veteran and former U.S. Senator (D-Ga.), was a guest speaker on September 16th in Professor Tommy Sowers’ Enterprising Leadership class. Senator Cleland shared examples of leadership ranging from Napoleon to President Kennedy to Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins, and presented the students with a challenge. “No question in my mind you’ll be leaders,” he said, “the question is what kind of leader will you be?”
